Find the answers to your most common questions here regarding the following topics:
If I email my Nestlé Infant Nutrition Representative through the Web site, is it any different from sending an email directly to the Nestlé Representative that calls on my office (if applicable)?
From a user perspective, both methods of emailing are essentially the same. If you have a Nestlé Representative that calls on your office, the emails you send through the site go to the same email inbox as your Nestlé Representative’s regular emails, but the “From” line will indicate that the message is from
Nestle-InfantNutrition.com to help call attention to its importance. To help you easily keep track of your communications, a copy of any email you send to your Rep is also automatically sent to your email address as well.
If you have a Nestlé Representative that calls on your office, when should you call the toll-free Medical Professional Information Line vs. contacting your Nestlé Representative?
Your Nestlé Infant Nutrition Representative should be your primary point of contact for any type of question or request. Your Rep can answer questions; provide research studies, educational materials, or growth charts; and supply your office with Nestlé® GOOD START® samples. The Nestlé Medical Professional Information Line is an information resource for you to obtain general information, or to be used as an alternate avenue when your Rep is unavailable. However, you should always consider turning to your Rep first. For those professionals that do not have a Nestlé Representative calling on their office, the Nestlé Medical Professional Information Line can provide answers to all of your questions.

How much can I “customize” the Parent Emails and Printouts?
The Parent Education emails and printouts are customizable in their own ways. You can add a personalized greeting and closing to each download in the milestone email series so that patients can better understand who provided the information. Another option is to use the customization to communicate specific instructions to a particular patient based on needs. For complete instructions on how to customize and send the patient email series, simply click and download a file to your desktop. When you open the desktop file, you will have the option to read usage instructions.
Parent Printouts can be customized (and previewed before printing)
right from this site.
There are four lines of 30 characters each that allow you to add your practice’s contact information—and office hours if you choose—to the upper right-hand corner of each printout. If you prefer to use the Parent Printouts without any customization, simply select the print button once you choose a printout and the customization area will be left blank.
If you have any difficulty with the customization process on any pieces, please contact
technical support.
Can I save a Parent Printout with my customized information in place?
Absolutely. This makes it easier to reprint on an as-needed basis. After adding up to four lines of personalized information, simply select "Save” or “Save as .PDF" under the file menu. This will save a version of the printout with your information in place to your desktop for future use.

How do Nestlé GOOD START® formulas differ from other infant formula brands?
Nestlé is the first and only manufacturer of 100% whey protein, partially hydrolyzed formula in the U.S. market. Partially hydrolyzed formulas are different from whole-protein-based formulas, such as Similac® and Enfamil®, in which the proteins remain intact and have not been broken down. Intact cow’s milk proteins are more likely to trigger sensitization and allergy6 than hydrolyzed proteins1,2,11,14-18 but both intact cow’s milk formulas and partially hydrolyzed 100% whey formulas are meant for routine use. Extensively hydrolyzed milk-based specialty formulas (such as Nutramigen®, Pregestimil® and Alimentum®) are most often used for very sensitive infants who cannot tolerate any routine formulas. Partially hydrolyzed formulas, such as NESTLÉ® GOOD START® DHA & ARA, are routine formulas for general use in all healthy infants. They are not intended to treat infants who are allergic to milk. The easily digested 100% whey protein in GOOD START® milk-based formulas is partially hydrolyzed but not broken down as extensively as the smaller peptides and individual amino acids that may be found in extensively hydrolyzed specialty formulas.
Enfamil® Nutramigen® and Pregestimil® are registered trademarks of Mead Johnson & Company. Similac® and Alimentum® are registered trademarks of Ross Laboratories.
